Requirements for Eligibility and Financial Guidelines: Trainees must first be Head Start employees. A pre-test is required before training is offered. Head Start employees from Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas, & Oklahoma

Intake Procedure: Complete registration materials supplied by SHAPES Academy.

Required Documents: All trainees are required to complete a pre-test before attending any SHAPES Academy workshops.

Fee Structure: Services are free to Head Start employees. Travel and meals are responsibility of the grantee.

Counties Served: All counties in Texas, New Mexico, Arkansas, Louisiana, & Oklahoma (Region VI).

History with SPCAA: The Teaching Center was granted to SPCAA in October 1992. The SHAPES Academy facility houses two SHAPES Head Start classrooms (40 children).
