Refer Recipients to the CEAP Program through Case Management for self-sufficiency and perform energy audits for cost effective energy savings.

Requirements for Eligibility and Financial Guidelines: Income below 125% of the current federal poverty income guidelines.

Intake Procedure: Referrals are taken at each Multi-Service Center. Case worker will do home visits for shut-ins.

History with SPCAA: Historically, it is acknowledged that very low income households expend disproportionally a higher amount of their income on energy to heat and cool their homes.

Other Comments: The purpose of this program is to increase the energy efficiency of dwellings owned or occupied by low-income persons, reduce the total residential energy expenditures, and improve their Health and Safety. Priority will be given to units occupied by the elderly, the handicapped and families with small children.
